The Ivy is one of L.A.’s delicious hot spots! It’s a very happening place located in a cozy, hip neighborhood on Robertson Boulevard. Although it’s busy, it has a certain charm. Perhaps it’s all the colorful roses, greenery and white aproned wait staff.
It’s full of star-studded patrons, but the real celebrity in this place is the food (and the cocktails are a dream!) My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation for the patio. You have to sit outside to get the full experience. The service is great and it’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny.
We started with Sangria and Guacamole of course!
I ordered the Vegetable Salad with Salmon and have been dreaming about it ever since. I have also had the same salad with Lime Chicken, which I personally like a little bit more, but they are both amazing. They are known for their seafood so you can’t go wrong either way.
A quintessential L.A. experience with delicious food, great service and a hip atmosphere. If you don’t mind crowds and a spending a little bit more for lunch, it’s a must. If you don’t like a busy restaurant, you may want to sit this one out.
